Construction Subdivision and Permits
Mission Statement:
To provide public works inspection services related to privately funded projects
within unincorporated areas of Orange County and on facilities owned and maintained
by the County of Orange.
Subdivision and Permits plan checks and inspects subdivision developments and construction
improvements that will be maintained by the County of Orange, including arterial
highways, local streets, storm drains, flood control facilities, underground utilities,
landscaping, trail systems and parks; also provide inspection services for encroachment
permits for construction within County owned property and rights-of-way; administration
of subdivision agreements during construction; maintenance and release of surety
bonds, acceptance of improvements, and certification of completion.
