Construction Division’s
National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES)

Construction 13

All construction projects are required to comply with two interrelated sets of municipal directives with respect to water quality management: (1) prevent unauthorized non-stormwater discharges, and (2) implementation of BMP’s to the maximum extent practicable to reduce or eliminate contaminants within stormwater discharges.
